About Technology.

Technology at Huge is powered by a global practice of creative technologists—spanning Engineers, QA specialists, Business Analysts, Data Scientists, and ML Architects—we look beyond standard patterns to build resilient, enterprise-grade systems. We combine deep engineering rigor with innovation at the edge of agentic AI, modern data stacks, and cloud infrastructure. We don't wait for industry standards to set themselves; we engineer the intelligent systems that turn audacious strategic vision into production-ready reality.

The role.

Huge is looking for a Senior UI Engineer to join our Technology practice in Colombia. In this role, you will build modern, interactive, and high-performance web applications using cutting-edge frontend stacks, enterprise CMS platforms, and cloud integrations. Working closely with design, strategy, QA, and global clients, you will lead component-driven implementation, embed accessibility and performance best practices, and mentor junior engineers across distributed delivery teams.

What you'll be doing.
  • Build modern, scalable, and interactive dynamic web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript, integrated with enterprise cloud systems and web services.
  • Architect and develop robust frontend experiences integrated with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), ensuring seamless component delivery and CMS functionality.
  • Partner with UX, visual design, QA, and strategy teams to evaluate feature feasibility, refine requirements, and translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect code.
  • Ensure all applications are W3C-compliant, WCAG/ARIA accessible, and optimized for core performance metrics and cross-device responsiveness.
  • Apply standard methodologies including object-oriented principles, inline documentation, specification design, and code reviews in an agile, rapid development environment.
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to junior team members, troubleshoot complex application issues, and collaborate with global client teams on post-launch enhancements.
What we'd like to see.
  • 5+ years of experience on an engineering team in agile environments, working alongside creatives, project managers, and strategists on large-scale web projects.
  • Strong hands-on experience developing within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM); familiarity with AEM Edge Delivery Services is a strong plus.
  • Deep expertise in JavaScript (ES202x), TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Sass (or modern CSS preprocessors).
  • Solid experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL services, along with strong OOP knowledge and software design patterns.
  • In-depth knowledge of WCAG/ARIA guidelines and inclusive design principles, with hands-on experience optimizing Core Web Vitals and conducting Lighthouse audits.
  • Familiarity or experience with Spec-Driven Development (e.g., Speckit, OpenSpec), Agentic Engineering practices, and AI developer tools like Claude Code.
  • Nice to have: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Jenkins), CDN/Edge deployments (Vercel/Netlify), databases (SQL/NoSQL), and Docker.
  • Nice to have: Prior experience on Healthcare project engagements, or hands-on experience with frontend web animations and motion design.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) and advanced English proficiency (C1+) for global team and client collaboration.

If the selected candidate holds a degree in Engineering or a related profession, they must present their professional license. To verify your degree requires this license, please visit www.copnia.gov.co and https://www.consejoprofesional.org.co/.
