Senior Trial Paralegal

Singleton Schreiber, LLP is seeking an experienced Senior Trial Paralegal to join our Mass Torts team. This position is fast paced, supports attorneys handling mass tort and plaintiff-side litigation in state and federal courts, and requires significant trial preparation and trial support experience. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation knowledge, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating with attorneys, experts, clients, and litigation support staff.

This is a fully remote position based in the United States. Travel will be required for trials, hearings, team meetings, training, and other case-related proceedings as needed.

SALARY: $48.00-$58.00 per hour
Actual compensation will vary and will be based on applicable factors such as location, skills, experience, and qualifications for the role.

JOB DUTIES:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: 

• Manage cases from pre-litigation through trial and post-trial proceedings. 
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including trial binders, exhibit lists, witness lists, deposition summaries, and pre-trial filings. 
• Provide trial support, including management of exhibits, witnesses, and trial logistics.
• Draft pleadings, motions, notices, subpoenas, correspondence, and discovery materials for attorney review.
• Prepare and finalize complex trial documents, and briefs including tables of contents, tables of authorities, and supporting exhibits in compliance with applicable court rules.
• Prepare for and support depositions, including drafting notices, organizing exhibits and key documents, summarizing transcripts, deposition designations, and tracking follow-up items.
• Coordinate witnesses including expert and client trial preparation, as well as organizing expert-review materials, managing witness-related information, and assisting attorneys with preparing clients for testimony.
• Coordinate and manage discovery, including document collection, review, and production.
• Manage court filings in state and federal courts, including CM/ECF and PACER filings.
• Track litigation deadlines, hearings, depositions, expert disclosures, and trial dates.
• Communicate with clients, experts, vendors, opposing counsel, and court personnel. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• 10+ years of litigation paralegal experience, including proven experience preparing cases for trial, providing onsite trial support, and managing cases through post-trial proceedings.
• Experience preparing trial exhibits, witness files, exhibit lists, trial binders, and deposition summaries.
• Experience filing in state and federal courts across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience with e-discovery processes and document management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Paralegal certificate or qualification under California Business & Professions Code § 6450.
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite, and litigation support software, including Filevine, Everlaw, PACER, OneLegal, and ShareFile. 
• Plaintiff-side mass tort, personal injury, catastrophic injury, wildfire litigation, or similar litigation experience preferred.
