What You Can Expect:
The Treasury Operations Specialist will work both independently and collaboratively with the Treasury Operations team, business partners, and participating banks to reconcile and correlate bank activity to ledger activity for assigned accounts. Treasury Operations cash reconciliation ensures compliance with Enterprise cash standards, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), Statutory, and GAAP reporting requirements. Reporting to the Director, Treasury Operations, this position is ideal for a proactive individual with strong attention to detail who can also think strategically about big-picture concepts and ideas. In addition to core reconciliation duties, the candidate will have the opportunity to work on high-impact financial reporting and innovative projects.
Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Complete end-to-end reconciliation and analysis of cash, check, and intercompany settlement activity across multiple business lines.
• Proactively investigate reconciliation variances, communicate findings to business partners, and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Review and analyze monthly reconciliation reports and resolve open items in a timely manner.
• Serve as the Prudential Account Signoff (PASS) Gatekeeper, ensuring every reconciliation point is assigned to a responsible owner and all sign-off requirements are met in accordance with policy.
• Review, process, and distribute incoming paper mail received in the office, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to the appropriate teams and stakeholders.
• Assist in daily oversight and direction of offshore Production Team (three individuals).
• Identify and champion process improvement initiatives, driving ongoing efficiency and innovation across Treasury Operations.
• Actively share knowledge and new ideas, contributing to a learning-oriented, high-performing team culture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent financial experience, required.
• 3+ years experience in financial reporting; familiarity with Oracle Financial Business Suite strongly preferred.
