As a Senior Treasury Analyst with Banner Plans & Networks, you will be part of the Treasury Management Team. Your treasury investment experience in either non-profit or corporate treasury departments will be called upon as you manage investments for BPN.

Your work location can be remote or remote hybrid depending on your home location. Your work shifts will be primarily Monday-Friday working in the Arizona Time Zone during business hours. This is a salaried position. If this role sounds like the one for you, apply today!

POSITION SUMMARY

This position manages and/or supports Treasury’s system-wide investment, cash management and debt program including the management of financial instruments and banking infrastructure, maintaining diversified portfolios, and delivering outstanding results on strategic initiatives. This position will serve as a leader in investment and cash management projects.

The position will have freedom to determine how to best accomplish position responsibilities with minimal supervision. Internal customers include all levels of management.

Responsibilities are system wide. This position provides analytical support for numerous financial initiatives. External customers include, but not limited to, consultants, bankers, advisors, trustees, custodians, and investment managers.

CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Assists with investment functions, including managing portfolios in alignment with Banner’s Investment Policy, implementing and maintaining efficient processes and controls, supporting investment due diligence, rebalancing multi-billion-dollar investment portfolios, implementing Board approved recommendations, preparing for quarterly Investment Committee Meetings, participating in investment manager update meetings, and providing ad-hoc analysis, as needed.
2. Analyzes system-wide cash to identify shortages and surpluses, ensures adequate liquidity, and coordinates the investment of surplus cash according to the Investment Policy. Creates and analyzes cash flow forecasts and continuously improves analysis and reporting for Senior Management and the Board of Directors.

3.Implements and maintains the processes and controls to manage system-wide cash and investments and assists in implementing and maintaining debt, payables, armored car, and merchant card programs. This includes developing and maintaining databases for reconciling, recording, and reporting information to Senior Management and the Board of Directors.

4. Assists with operational oversight for investment, corporate cash and debt. This includes assisting with controlling and maintaining all investments, banking and debt systems, accounts, and vendor relationships. Assists with continuously evaluating and improving cash, investment, debt, and other functions.

5. Develops timely reports for management, including quarterly and annual audit schedules and financial statement footnotes, and updates and continuously improves monthly investment, and cash reporting. Interacts with bankers, advisors, trustees, custodians, and investment managers to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information..

6. Maintains relationships with commercial and investment bankers, investment and financial consultants, custodians, acquiring banks, and investment managers. Serves as commercial and acquiring bank and investment custodian liaison for internal stakeholders.

7. Assists with maintaining and supporting all tax-exempt and taxable multi-billion-dollar debt programs.

8. Provides scenario modeling, risk analysis, and recommendations for Treasury solutions, processes, policies, and applications of technology.
9. Supports due diligence and implementation efforts for merger and acquisitions, new solution/technology reviews, solution implementation, and internal investment programs

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, skills and abilities as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience in finance or related field.

Five to eight years of experience with treasury functions, investments, treasury workstations, and banking platforms.

In-depth knowledge of financial analysis principles, analytical skills, Microsoft Office 365, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Excellent organization and communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred

Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
