As a Senior Treasury Analyst, you will be an integral part of a team that is tasked with monitoring and maintaining liquidity for the company by borrowing from commercial banks, issuing securitization transactions, executing loan sales, managing cash flow operations and more.
How will you drive value within the organization as a Senior Treasury Analyst?
- Primary support to Capital Markets leaders in the structuring and execution of financing transactions which may include but won’t be limited to: asset-backed securitizations, bank lending facilities, and whole loan sales
- Manage various third-party relationships important to the general Capital Markets program including outside counsel, trustees, back up servicers, rating agencies, investment banks, investors, etc.
- Support investor development efforts including investor tracking, investor outreach, conference planning, and roadshow coordination
- Identify and implement process improvements pertaining to Capital Markets related performance tracking, hedge reporting, and investor reporting
- Make recommendations for improvements to P&P documents, processes, and models for treasury and capital markets group
- Monitor and report Capital Markets trends and commentary to inform GLS’ cost of funds estimates and overall financing strategy
- Work closely with other internal Finance teams on securitization deliverables
- Mentor and train junior team members; may exercise management authority concerning staffing, performance feedback, talent development, promotions, salary recommendations, and terminations
- Maintain electronic records and files that support work performed, results, and outcomes
- Foster a collaborative culture that facilitates the achievement of business plan objectives by working closely with other associates and members of management
- Perform additional assignments and special projects as required by the needs of the company or as directed by management
What should you already know to be successful as a Senior Treasury Analyst?
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree required in finance, economics, accounting, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in similar role required
- Strong knowledge of capital markets, finance, and accounting required
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving techniques required
- Excellent interpersonal skills: friendly and tactful with the ability to influence others, effectively manage conflict, exercise sound judgment, effectively manage highly sensitive and confidential information, interact at all levels within the organization, and build cross-functional partnerships across the business
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team player that can adapt in a fast pace and changing environment
- Proficient computer skills with working knowledge of standard business applications; ability to quickly learn new computer applications as required
- Commitment to exemplifying the organizational core values and key competencies
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and demonstrated ability to effectively set and manage multiple conflicting priorities
Employment Requirements:
- Significant portions of daily assignments involve application of manual skills requiring motor coordination in combination with finger dexterity
- Constantly operate a computer and other standard office equipment
- Be able to perform activities such as: viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, bending, and kneeling
- This position is full-time
- This is an exempt level position whereby business need will dictate the exact work schedule which should be expected to vary at times. Generally, days and hours of work are Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am-6:00pm.
- Regular, predictable attendance is required, including overtime hours as business demands dictate
- Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand
- The position does not require travel
