We are seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst, Front Office to join our Global Treasury team based in Singapore.
You will play a key role in supporting Dyson's global treasury activities, including cash and liquidity management, financial risk management, treasury operations and compliance, treasury accounting, and the delivery of strategic treasury projects that support the business's continued growth.
About the role
Reporting to the Front Office Treasury Manager, you will support Dyson's global treasury activities, with a focus on liquidity management, foreign exchange risk management, treasury operations and governance.
You will be part of the team that manages the Group's funding, cash concentration structures and FX activities, while driving continuous improvement across Treasury processes and controls.
Responsibilities
Ensure delivery of high standards in cash and bank account management, internal and external funding, foreign exchange risk management, control and compliance in accordance with Dyson Treasury policy.
Part of the Front Office Treasury team, working in close collaboration with the wider Finance functions, to ensure that day-to-day deliverables are met timely with a high standard of excellence.
Foreign Exchange Risk Management
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of FX transactions, including daily liquidity positioning and monthly hedging activity, within Dyson approved policy.
- Prepare monthly hedging proposals in accordance with Dyson approved policy.
- Manage and onboard banks on 360T platform.
- Work with Treasury operations and external parties to ensure FX transactions are settled in a timely and accurate manner.
Liquidity Management
- Propose short-term borrowing, investment and transfers to maintain appropriate liquidity for business units.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of approved borrowing and investment transactions.
- Manage and optimize funding within the Dyson multi-currency notional pool structures.
- Work with Treasury operations and external parties to ensure cash management transactions are settled in a timely and accurate manner.
Reporting and compliance
- Ensure accurate input for all executed FX risk and liquidity management transactions in treasury management system.
- Manage intercompany loan position reporting and compliance with intercompany agreements.
- Prepare FX and liquidity management related reports and analysis.
- Preparation and publication of daily Treasury dashboard and weekly Treasury Markets Update.
Framework and controls
- Ensure documentation of Treasury processes are prepared/updated for management review as part of compliance and process improvement.
- Provide input to support initiatives to drive incremental positive changes in Dyson’s Treasury Operations.
Assist in regular and ad hoc matters as required.
Experience/technical skills
- Minimum undergraduate degree, with major in Finance, Accounting or Banking.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ relevant experience in cash and liquidity management, FX execution in a multi-national company.
- Strong numerical, financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Experience with TMS (SAP preferred), trading platforms (360T preferred), research platforms (Bloomberg/Refinitiv) and investment platforms (ICD preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (intermediate to advanced level in Excel and PowerPoint).
- Having knowledge of hedge accounting would be advantageous.
