Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Transition Manager to support the launch and ongoing success of the newly established Wells Fargo RIA Solutions Channel. This role is critical in transitioning advisors and their clients when establishing a new Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) or joining an existing RIA. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner, capable of driving process development and documentation, relationship building, and transition execution.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and manage key relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and point of contact for each transition
- Drive complex initiatives related to servicing, support, and growth of the Wells Fargo RIA Solutions Channel
- Develop and document processes, procedures, controls, and FA-facing materials to support the channel launch
- Manage individual FA/team transitions, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for advisors and their clients
- Identify and implement opportunities for operational and process improvements.
- Provide daily support and resolution of issues, ensuring high satisfaction and engagement
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal partners to align on goals, resolve issues, and deliver results
- Maintain and analyze complex business, operational, or technical assignments involving research and evaluation
- Exercise independent judgment in managing relationships and recommending solutions
- Present findings, updates, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders and leadership
- 5+ years of Business Relationship experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Proven experience managing transition processes (e.g., Channel Transfer, External FA onboarding).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to identify interdependencies and manage timelines.
- Extensive cross-functional brokerage experience.
- Extensive RIA experience.
- Deep understanding of the independent advisor business model.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to manage multiple transitions and projects concurrently.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience supporting new business channel launches or transformations.
- Familiarity with compliance and control documentation in a financial services environment.
- Ability to create and deliver FA-facing artifacts and training materials.
- Follow enterprise guidelines related to in-person office work schedule. Currently, hybrid work schedule (at least 3 days in-person/week) - this is subject to change in the future
