The Training Specialist roles holds a pivotal role in shaping the growth and development of both new hires and current employees at Pearl. This involves designing, delivering, and continuously refining comprehensive training programs, conducting detailed needs assessments to identify skill gaps, executing tailored training sessions, and establishing measurable metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of these initiatives. The Specialist is responsible for ensuring the alignment of training efforts with organizational goals, fostering a culture of ongoing professional development and excellence.
Your Impact:
Manage the design, delivery and continuous improvement of training programs as well as ongoing learning opportunities across the organization in support of organizational needs.
Collaborate with leadership and departmental managers to identify training needs, outline deliverables, and expectations and align programs with organizational objectives.
Facilitate engaging workshops, seminars and hands-on sessions to foster employee skill development and knowledge retention.
Partner with individual departments to outline deliverables, expectations and risks, to include specific training needs for staff.
Confers with managers and employees to aid in the creation and upkeep of professional development plans.
Employ diverse training methods, techniques, concepts, tools, and practices to optimize the effectiveness of training programs, whether in group settings or individual classroom environments.
Conduct specific training needs assessments to support the design, development and delivery of corporate training programs and strategies.
Stay informed on industry trends, emerging training methodologies and technological advancements to ensure innovative and effective program design.
Establish and maintain a knowledge repository to centralize training resources for consistent access across teams.
Creates training materials and internal publications with graphic design/layout and video production/editing skills
Monitor and analyze training program data to assess benefits and effectiveness against training objectives and recommend improvements.
Interact and work closely with Senior Leadership to determine specific training needs in order to align with the overall corporate objectives.
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations and best practices in all training initiatives.
Successful Candidate Will Have:
Bachelor’s degree in business management, Education, or Human resources or a related field; 5+ years of professional training experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Five years’ experience as a trainer with demonstrated ability to successfully develop and deliver training programs utilizing skills in instructional design, program design and development and training methodologies.
Computer literate with in-depth knowledge of MS office and web-based systems; visual aids technology.
Knowledge of employee development practices and techniques.
Possess exceptional verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
High energy, enthusiastic, motivational training style.
Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to interface effectively at all levels within an organization.
At One80 Intermediaries, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings, paid time off, and paid holidays for eligible employees. The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected annual pay range for this position is $51,800 to $60,000 plus discretionary bonus. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
