At AFCA, we're preparing to deliver scam-related dispute resolution under the new Scams Prevention Framework (SPF), a world-leading initiative designed to strengthen protections for Australian consumers and small businesses. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-profile transformation program and play a pivotal role in building the capability that will support its success. 

The Opportunity

As the Senior Training Consultant, Scams, you'll lead the design and delivery of an enterprise-wide learning strategy that supports a major organisational transformation. Working alongside a talented team of change professionals, SMEs and project specialists, you'll create engaging learning experiences that prepare our people to confidently navigate new processes, systems and ways of working. 

This isn't a traditional training role. We're looking for someone who can think strategically, innovate learning solutions and bring complex concepts to life through compelling, practical and engaging experiences.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive learning strategy and training roadmap for a significant enterprise initiative.
  • Conduct training needs analysis and translate business requirements into effective learning solutions.
  • Design and deliver engaging face-to-face, virtual and hybrid learning experiences.
  • Partner with Subject Matter Experts to convert complex knowledge into scalable, practical learning outcomes.
  • Create a diverse range of learning assets including eLearning modules, videos, guides, toolkits, workshops and digital resources.
  • Drive continuous improvement through stakeholder feedback, testing and evaluation.
  • Champion modern instructional design approaches that support learning transfer and lasting behavioural change

This is initially a 12-month contract role.

What You'll Bring

You are a creative and commercially minded learning professional who thrives in fast-paced transformation environments.

You'll bring:

  • Extensive experience developing end-to-end learning strategies, training plans and learning roadmaps.
  • Strong instructional design expertise across both digital and instructor-led learning environments.
  • Experience designing engaging learning assets including eLearning, videos, job aids, toolkits and blended learning programs.
  • Proven success delivering training programs within large-scale transformation or change initiatives.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence across all levels of an organisation.
  • Experience with learning technologies and authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, Snagit or similar platforms.
  • A proactive, self-starting approach and the ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining high quality outcomes.
