Broadridge is Growing! We are seeking a Senior Trading Systems Analyst to work across trading, OMS, portfolio management, and market data platforms within the financial domain. This role blends advanced technical analysis, financial systems expertise, and hands-on problem solving across integrated applications.
The position requires deep technical troubleshooting capability, strong SQL proficiency, understanding of the financial domain including but not limited to trade workflows, FIX messages, market data etc., and the ability to analyze issues across application, data, and vendor layers. This is a senior-level role operating in a high-visibility, client-facing environment.
Work Mode: We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be coming into the Newark office 2 days a week and given the flexibility to work remotely the rest of the time.
Key Responsibilities:- Support and enhance trading, OMS, portfolio management, and security master platforms.
- Perform deep analysis of application behavior, trade lifecycle events, and cross-system data flows.
- Use MS SQL extensively for complex data analysis, reconciliation, validation, and issue diagnostics.
- Analyze and interpret FIX messages to trace order and execution workflows.
- Evaluate system integrations including APIs, batch jobs, real-time market data feeds, and downstream reporting.
- Trace data lineage from raw vendor feeds through normalization, mapping, and portfolio consumption.
- Work with market data providers such as Bloomberg, ICE Data Services (IDC), and similar vendors to validate pricing and reference data.
- Identify structural improvements and implement automation, scripting, or AI-assisted monitoring where appropriate.
- Review object-oriented code to understand application logic and support system enhancements.
- Contribute to system stability, release validation, and platform optimization initiatives.
- Act as a senior technical resource within the broader trading technology function.
- 5–7+ years of experience in finance, fintech, or computer science/technology driven environments.
- Strong background working with trading, OMS, or portfolio management systems.
- Advanced MS SQL with hands-on usage for data interrogation, reconciliation, and cross-system analysis.
- Object-oriented programming experience required.
- Proficiency in at least one: VB, C#, Java, or Python.
- Solid knowledge of financial asset classes including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and FX.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts and tools, with experience applying them to monitoring, anomaly detection, predictive insights, and workflow automation preferred.
Demonstrated experience leveraging AI in day-to-day workflows to improve efficiency, automate routine tasks, enhance decision-making, and drive operational effectiveness.
Proven ability to identify, evaluate, and implement AI-driven solutions in daily operations, translating AI capabilities into practical business workflows and measurable outcomes.
- Solid understanding of FIX protocol and order/execution message structures.
- Experience with security master data models and trade lifecycle workflows.
- Experience working with vendors such as Bloomberg, ICE Data Services (IDC), or similar market data providers preferred.
- Understanding of vendor mnemonics, pricing feeds, reference data structures, and end-to-end data lineage.
- Exposure to AI or machine learning concepts applied to monitoring, anomaly detection, or workflow automation preferred.

Salary Range: 115,000.00 – 125,000.00 USD annual
