About CRBO
The Asset Management Compliance, Risk and Business Operations (CRBO) team comprises the following teams: AM Compliance, AM Risk, Business Operations and Strategy, Counterparty Research & Analytics, Investment Services and Strategic Business Initiatives. The teams work together to support Asset Management’s strategic goals while being the best partner to the business to protect our clients via proactive compliance monitoring, risk oversight and strategic business planning. The team’s key organizational themes are business partnership and stewardship, platform modernization, innovation, and talent development.
The Purpose of your Role
The Trading Operations team within Fixed Income Investment Services provides operational support to the US and London Fixed Income trading desks. We help ensure the integrity of the trading operational landscape and serve as a point of contact for the investment team and fixed income’s business partners. Troubleshooting problems and ensuring proper resolution through a strong understanding of trading, supporting technology and external dependencies are critical to the role. The team acts as a subject matter expert representing Fixed Income trading on Fidelity, industry, and regulatory initiatives. This role will reside within the Fixed Income Trading Operations team and provide primary on-site support of the Fixed Income UK trading desk in London.

The Value You Deliver

Provide on-site operational support for the Fixed Income UK trading desk

Insulate the UK investment team by taking the lead on operational related issues

Serve as a single point-of-contact or “gateway” for the UK investment team and business partners

Ensure processes adhere to established policies and procedures

Escalate issues where appropriate and ensure timely resolution

Participate as designated team member on UK related initiatives

Build and foster strong relationships internally and externally (e.g., Legal, Compliance, FFIO Middle Office, Audit, trading vendors, trading counterparties, etc.)

Over time this role may evolve to have a cross Asset Management trading oversight focus
The Expertise You Bring
-
6+ years working experience in/or working with global operations teams

University degree required; emphasis on business and/or finance preferred

Domain expertise in financial services back, middle, or front office operations or technology

Broad-based investment industry experience; experience with operational oversight, industry technologies and regulatory considerations

Strong relationship management, communication, and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate effectively

Record of strong team orientation; commitment to excellence; attention to detail
