Main Objectives of Job

This position is responsible for developing and implementing trade marketing strategies and supporting by-channel development plans to meet established sales, market share and L3F targets. The incumbent is expected to work, communicate and interact effectively with Marketing, sales and finance to execute and optimize all planned trade marketing and channel development activities to meet agreed objectives and timing.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Participate in preparation of strategic planning and annual budget to design effective promotional and activation plans of on and off channel as well as corporate global strategy.

2. Work closely with Brand team and Sales channel managers to develop trade marketing activities in line with Brand & Sales strategy as well as to assess efficiency. Ensure that sales team is provided with all necessary information and support on “push” activities (promotion, depletions programs, L3F plans, etc.).

3. L3F Management
• Develop and update L3F (merchandising and POS) plan for channel and strategic outlets and help Sales Team on execution.
• Coordinate with Brand team on brand thematic merchandising execution (e.g. visual merchandising, festive packs, VAP, etc.).

4. Key Customer Relationship Development
• Be the spokesperson in relation to customers (via salesforce team) on all trade marketing activities for all brands (in liaison with Brand Marketing).
• Develop strong relationship with selected strategic customers and network key relevant decision makers for brand activation and events. 
• Assist Sales to negotiate the L3F & promotion with strategic customers (preparation and meetings).

5. Lead Trade Marketing activation and draw up plans and execute “push&pull” programs in conjunction with brand policies, guidelines and budgets.

6. Analyze the opportunities and threats of the environment, by constantly seeking and interpreting market data related to promotion, activation and L3F by customers and competitors

7. Liaise with relevant promotion and agencies and suppliers to develop below-the- line materials in support of in-country marketing plans. Monitor, analyze challenge and report on agencies and suppliers performance and cost.

8. Monitor Trade Marketing spend against budget or LE and ensure compliance with corporate policies (Marketing, digital and Business codes of conduct, MFM management rules, approval policy, etc.)

9. Develop effective promotional plans for on & off channel and have a know-how to produce consumer hooking POS.

Requirement

- 10+ years of experience in Trade Marketing, Channel Marketing, or Commercial Marketing
- Experience in FMCG / spirits / premium consumer goods
- Proven experience in trade activation, L3F (merchandising & POS), and promotional planning across on- and off-trade channels
- Strong understanding of sales channels and customer dynamics
- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Brand Marketing, and Finance
- Solid analytical, project management, and budget management skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills 
- Fluent in Korean and business-level English proficiency
