Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Senior Tooling & Support Equipment Coordinator (TSE) to join our Production System Training (PST) team in San Antonio, TX.
The Tooling & Support Equipment (TSE) Coordinator will plan for the procurement, maintenance, and optimization of tooling, fixtures, test equipment, and support equipment used by the Training department. This role partners with Curriculum Development, Training Delivery, Safety, Logistics, and Supplier Management to ensure training tooling is mission-representative, safe, available, and cost-effective.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Audit and maintain the inventory of training tooling, fixtures, jigs, gauges, and support equipment
  • Design or modify training-specific tooling and mock-ups to meet curriculum learning objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate procurement, fabrication, and refurbishing of tooling; manage vendor relationships and contract scope for tooling work
  • Establish and execute preventive maintenance, inspection, and calibration schedules; maintain records
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for tooling setup, storage, handling, inspection, and disposition
  • Support training event setup/tear-down planning and on-site tooling troubleshooting
  • Manage spare parts stocking, consumables, and small capital planning for tooling lifecycle
  • Track tooling utilization, availability, condition, and cost; report metrics and deliver continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure tooling safety compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements to support risk assessments
  • Provide technical guidance to instructors and technicians on proper use and care of training tooling

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience with tool control management, tooling, fixtures, support equipment, or maintenance in an aerospace, manufacturing, or training environment
  • 3+ years of experience with tooling design, fabrication oversight and/or supplier management
  • 3+ years of experience do you have with mechanical systems, to include tool shop processes, fasteners, hand and power tools and basic metrology
  • 3+ years of experience with inventory control systems and maintenance recordkeeping systems
  • 3+ years of experience ensuring adherence to safety standards and mitigating risks when using tools
  • 3+ years of experience communicating business needs and cross-functional collaboration

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Associates degree or equivalent technical certification in engineering technology, manufacturing, maintenance, or related field or years of related work experience
  • Experience supporting training organizations or learning curriculum alignment
  • Experience with calibration, inspection protocols, and regulatory/audit requirements relevant to aerospace maintenance training
  • Experience with CAD or technical drawing interpretation
  • Lean/continuous improvement certification or experience (e.g., 5S, Kaizen)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $71,400 - $84,000
