Senior Test Engineer

In your role as a Senior Test Engineer with AppLogic Networks, you will be a part of a next generation analytics solutions for its innovation team that are proud to always have Quality as number one priority. You will design, develop, test and maintain a variety of application and low-level software that runs on our impact platforms. We identify ourselves as team players, innovative, curious and we perform on a global playground developing highly complex products. We aim for fast feedback, customer success and efficient testing.

• Own feature and product quality.
• Collaborate in agile environment with different functions to deliver a carrier grade product
• Develop, execute and automate test plans considering all aspects of quality assurance.
• Review and analyze project requirements/documentation to ensure product test-ability.
• Provide accurate defect submissions which communicate customer impact and provide information to assist with the defect investigation and resolution.
• Assist in project risk analysis, testing scope and scheduling
• Assist with customer issue investigation from time to time
• Perform timely and thorough code reviews for members of the team
• Write scripts/applications to generate test data and/or emulate scenarios

• Bachelor's Degree (STEM) or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in large-scale integrations environments
• Background in Telecom or Data networks with prior experience in Cloud and Virtualization is preferred.
• Experience of SW development or test in a Cloud and Virtualization environment
• Excellent coding skills in Python
• Excellent networking knowledge (TCP/IP and Layer 7 applications, other communication protocols in LAN/WAN environments; familiar with routers, switches and firewalls)
• Networking tool familiarity (Wireshark, tcpdump, etc)
• Experience from working in a Linux development environment
• Experience on continuous integration concepts, tools (e.g Git), and best practices
• Good communication skills
