Position: Snr Test Resident Engineer

Test Resident Engineer is responsible for supporting Manufacturing Test Release of New Product and production sustaining. He/she will be in-charge of deploying new product into supplier manufacturing plant, sustaining production, monitoring and improving test operational performance (yield, OEE, EQC failure), managing process improvement and supporting quality issue resolution and regular audits in test supplier sites.  Successful candidate will also support projects driven by business needs.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Support business units on product manufacturing test release, including wafer probe / packaged test / post test, and start-up activities (qualification, validation and production ramp), achieve engineering/ operation / capacity KPI.
  • Execute test software / hardware diagnosis and improvement to support test operation (repair, test yield analysis & improvement, inline QA failure, customer returns, OEE improvement).
  • Analyze material excursion seen in production and work with MRB board to provide material disposition.
  • Manage continuous process improvement / BKM programs to achieve zero-defect.
  • Support quality audits in test supplier factories and drive closure of audit findings.
  • Drive / Support projects driven by business need, such as new site certification, resiliency transfer.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master Degree in Electronics Engineering / Physics or relevant subject.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in semiconductor product engineering and/or test engineering, experience in managing test supplier / test subcontractor is preferred
  • Experienced in commercial tester application, e.g. LTX, Teradyne UltraFlex, Advantest 93k, Eagle 364/800, NI, SPEA.
  • Knowledge of test process controls and quality tools (Product CPK, Correlation, GRR, MSA, 8D, FMEA), certificate of six-sigma, lean manufacturing is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated / independent, strong analytical skill, collaborative to work in team.
  • Effective communications skill, proficient in Thai and English
  • Project Management knowledge is an advantage.
