M9 Solutions is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to work hybrid remote/on-site on a government contract for a client located in San Diego, CA. An active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
Responsibilities
- Work on a multi-disciplinary team in an Agile, fast-paced development environment.
- Support the development and implementation of a mission-focused software cloud application.
- Develop test plans, test procedures, integration and requirement sell-off.
- Coordinate with the technical team to accomplish program tasks, provide technical solutions, and support system integration on the program.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Ability to work on-site 50% of the time.
- Ability to engage constructively with peers and technical leads to communicate the technical approach, trade-offs, and technical decisions.
- Understanding of modern software development and systems engineering practices, design principles, techniques, and technologies.
- Highly motivated and works well in both team and solo settings.
- Experience developing systems engineering process for planning dev, integration and test.
- Capable of writing detailed test procedures.
- Capable of learning new systems quickly.
- Ability to read and follow procedures and flow diagrams.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor of science degree in engineering/technical discipline.
- 8+ years of related experience.
- Experience with Windows, Ubuntu (or similar Linux based OS), Postman, Curl, RESTful web services, GitHub/GitLab, Java, Bash, Curl, XML, JSON, SQL, JavaScript, AWS.
- Equivalent experience, training and/or certifications.
- Motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, judgment, and analytical capability.
- Ability to develop improved methods to increase program efficiency.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
Full-Time Employee Compensation
- M9 Solutions’ pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include, but are not limited to, responsibilities of the position, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal equity, location, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

Salary Range
$60,000—$180,000 USD
