Job Title: Senior Test Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Business & Team:

As Senior Test Engineer under Technology, responsible for the world leading applications of technology and operations across every aspect of CommBank from innovative product platforms for our customers to essential tools within our business. We also use technology to drive efficient and timely processing, an essential component of great customer service.

The Cyber Security Team protects the bank and our customers from theft, losses and risk events, through effective and proactive management of cyber security, privacy and operational risk.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Work closely with Test Manager, Business Analysts, SMEs, Developers and other testers.
• Contribute to Test Plan Design, Validation/Quality Summary Report, Gap Analysis and other validation documentation.
• Produce & present Security Test Strategies (if required), Test Plans, Traceability Matrix, and Test Completion Reports
• Able to identify different test levels required on a cyber-security project.
• Test Coordination, Cross-Functional – Multi-Vendor – Delivery model (onshore / offshore)
• Run and execute the defect management process.
• Plan and monitor execution of test cases and report/ triage/ track defects, define priority.
• Agile frameworks, Scrums and Agile Ceremonies – Sprint Planning / Backlog Refining

• Hands on experience of JIRA, Confluence and similar test management tools (Zephyr Scale / HP / Test Rail)

• Ability to work under pressure and deadlines, work in Onsite: Offshore working model.
• Analytical skills, Decision making ability, Attention to details & good at status reporting.
• Risk mindset.
• Make quality assurance and compliance decisions with regard to software development, validation and support.
• Sense of ownership and taking self-initiatives
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Has that strong ability to negotiate and provide constructive continuous improvements to stakeholders.

Essential Skills :-

• Experience in Cyber Security technology, principles and methodologies.
• Knowledge and substantial experience on Cyber Security Testing on any of the following areas:
• AWS Cloud /Azure Cloud migration Projects
• AWS micro services (CloudFormation) Code Pipeline Management
• Cyber Security Posture / Vulnerability / Compliance Management
• Migration to Cloud (AWS / AZURE & Hybrid)
• Containers (Kubernetes / Dockers / Fargate etc..)
• Scripting knowledge (Python), Build and Deploy Tools (Terraform, Jenkins, )
• Cloud Networking / Cloud Connectivity

Good to Have knowledge:

• Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Knowledge on SIEM /Service Now Integration – Logs analysis and validation
• Experience in defect analysis and reporting.
• Experience on all test phases (SIT, E2E, PVT, BVT and UAT)

Education Qualification :-

• Experience: 8+ Years
• Experience with security and access control application -SailPoint.
• Tertiary qualifications in an IT/computer-related discipline
• Experience working in a security domain.
• Relevant IT or business tertiary qualifications
