Eaton’s Data Center division is currently seeking a Senior Test Engineer.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $71,000 - $105,000 a year.

- Lead system-level testing, integration, and validation of power management, power distribution, energy storage, UPS, and related hardware products to ensure compliance with functional, performance, and reliability requirements.
- Develop and execute test strategies, plans, procedures, and reports covering hardware, firmware, software, networking, and end-to-end system operation.
- Validate network-connected products and solutions, including Ethernet, TCP/IP, SNMP, Modbus, BACnet, cloud connectivity, and cybersecurity-related functionality.
- Design and execute test scenarios that evaluate system behavior under normal, abnormal, environmental, and fault conditions to verify product robustness and reliability.
- Collaborate with Hardware, Firmware, Software, Product Management, Quality, Manufacturing, and Customer Support teams to define test methodologies, assess product risks, and support successful product releases.
- Identify and drive improvements in test processes, laboratory infrastructure, tools, automation frameworks, and validation methodologies from concept through implementation.
- Review product requirements, specifications, and system architectures to ensure comprehensive test coverage, traceability, and validation of customer and business requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship while communicating test strategies, results, product quality risks, and recommendations to project teams and engineering leadership.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer science from an accredited institution
- Minimum of five (5) years in testing

- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Woodridge, IL will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
