The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Lead the creation and expansion of validation setups for mission-critical electronic equipment, from early development through full system integration. You will decide how hardware gets verified, select measurement equipment, build automated solutions and work alongside design engineers to close out issues uncovered during testing.
What you'll do
- Design and build test racks, automated test equipment, fixtures, cabling and hardware-in-the-loop setups for electronic hardware.
- Take ownership of test development from individual components through to full system integration.
- Automate and scale test procedures so they keep pace with rising production volume.
- Investigate unexpected hardware behavior, drive fault diagnosis to the underlying cause and feed findings back to design engineers.
- Run qualification and environmental test campaigns covering vibration, thermal and electromagnetic interference.
