We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer – Salesforce for Chennai location, to join our company.
In Wilhelmsen Port Services, we provide our customers with peace of mind while we handle their cargo, their vessels and their crew. We handle 75,000 port calls per year, which means that every 7 minutes, anywhere around the world, we send a ship safely out to sea again to fulfil its purpose. Who you are:
You are a senior quality professional with extensive experience testing complex Salesforce applications. You bring leadership to the testing team, drive quality standards, and are comfortable working in fast-paced Agile environments with a strong attention to detail.
What you will be doing:
Lead execution of end-to-end testing activities for Salesforce applications
Design and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases across functional, regression, integration, and UAT
Review user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure testability and completeness
Identify, log, prioritise, and track defects through resolution
Perform root cause analysis of defects and work closely with development teams on fixes
Validate fixes and ensure quality gates are met prior to release
Mentor mid-level and associate testers on testing processes and best practices
Maintain test artefacts, traceability, and documentation
Required experience and skills:
10+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
Strong understanding of testing lifecycle management and QA processes
Experience testing Salesforce applications, including custom development and integrations
Familiarity with Agile delivery environments and defect management tools
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills
Domain knowledge in Maritime / Shipping / Logistics (preferred)
Preferred Certifications
• ISTQB® Foundation or Advanced
• Salesforce Certified Administrator or Consultant
