Job Description

Are you ready to discover the role of a Senior Test Engineer in Netcompany?

As a Senior Test Engineer, you will:

  • Define the scope of testing within the context of each product and release by collaborating with Test Engineers, defining test approaches and reviewing and writing test scenarios.
  • Planning test activities, follow up on progress and approach by ensuring priority alignment inside the team, driving alignment with the involved parties in setting up the environments and tools.
  • Prepare assessment of the product quality by reviewing requirements, design documentation, creating the test scenarios, test cases and test data including automation of the test cases.
  • Run assessment of the product quality by running tests and reporting on the outcome.
  • Continuously assess and look for ways to improve the quality of the product including requirements review and improvement to the testing approach.
  • Leverage test analysis and test automation patterns to ensure requirement coverage, fast and reliable test execution.

Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

  • ​​​​​​Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
  • Excellent knowledge of software testing standards, methodologies, test planning, test scenario design, test case creation, and execution.
  • Proficiency in API testing using Postman, Kreya, or similar tools, as well as automated testing and system integration testing.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, databases, containerized environments, observability tools, and complex enterprise system integration.
  • Solid understanding of Defect Management, including defect prioritization, root cause analysis, and the use of test and defect management tools.
  • Ability to understand business requirements, define testing priorities, manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development and testing methodologies, with the ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.

Skills Required
