Your Impact
As a Senior Test Automation Engineer,
- You design and own end-to-end automated test strategies across multi-layered test frameworks — unit, integration, system, UI, stress and performance — for our medical software products.
- You build and evolve test harnesses and CI pipelines that catch regressions early, run reliably at scale, and give the development teams fast, trustworthy feedback across our C++ desktop, .NET and modern web estates.
- You design and execute stress and performance tests, identify bottlenecks and stability risks, and work with engineering to drive measurable quality improvements.
- You collaborate closely with software developers, architects and product management, acting as the quality conscience of the team and championing test-driven, shift-left engineering practices.
- You leverage AI agents and Claude Code to generate, maintain and triage tests, and to build automation skills and workflows the wider QA community can reuse.
Your Profile
- 5+ years of experience in test automation, with a solid grasp of multi-layered test frameworks, stress testing and performance testing.
- Strong programming skills (e.g. C#, Java, Python or TypeScript). C# experience and penetration-testing capabilities are a plus.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and modern test tooling (e.g. Ranorex, Playwright, Cypress, GitLab CI); ISTQB or equivalent certification is appreciated.
- Demonstrated effective use of AI in QA workflows. Experience with Claude Code or similar — building agents, skills and workflows — is preferred; AI pipelines, harnesses and context engineering are a strong plus.
- Strong problem-solving orientation, innovation, proactivity, and a quality-first mindset aligned with our healthcare purpose.
- Excellent communication skills; Fluent English; German is a plus.
What You Can Expect from Us:
- High Performing Team: You will be part of a close-nit, elite team within CGM that will move fast, with accuracy and hit deadlines with confidence.
- Hybrid Work: Enjoy the flexibility of working two days per week remotely and three days on-site at our Bangalore office.
- Comprehensive Benefits: Extensive group health and accidental insurance programs.
- Seamless Onboarding: A safe digital application process and a structured onboarding program.
- Career Growth: Various career growth opportunities and a competitive merit increment policy.
- Stable & Resilient domain: Healthcare is a relatively stable and recession-proof domain.
