The Role
To support our Technology team, we are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Senior Test Automation Engineer*. The successful candidate will join a small team of testers focused on maintaining the quality of the applications offered.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from requirements validation through development and deployment, including:
- Requirements analysis
- Design, creation, review, and execution of automated test cases
- Manual testing as needed
- System and application monitoring
- Perform defect analysis, including tracking, validation, and reporting
- Closely monitor environments to proactively identify and address issues
What You Bring to the Team:
- Solid software testing experience (5 years +)
- Experience with Java in testing (SpringBoot, AssertJ, JUnit, MockMvc)
- Experience with Test Automation Frameworks (Cucumber, Cypress)
- Expertise in creation of test scripts (Typescript)
- Good working knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret requirements and turn them into tests
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related qualifications (ISTQB/ISEB)
- Experienced in Agile software testing
- Background in Information Technology
- Good English communication skills
- Flexible attitude with the ability to perform under pressure
- Strong self-learning ability with on-the-job learning
- Ability to prioritize
- Proactive and a self-starter
- Team player with experience working in a small team
- Multicultural sensitivity/awareness
Additional plus points
- Financing background / experience
- Experience in API testing and automation with tools like RESTAssured is a plus
- Experience in monitoring tools like DataDog is a plus
- Development background is a plus
