The purpose of this role is to design, develop and maintain test automation solutions for SWIFT products, services and software components using existing or innovative tools, techniques and technologies. You will be working in close collaboration with developers, business analysts and product owners to ensure the quality of our software products and services by executing manual and/or automated tests. You will also contribute to improving testing standards, processes and tools within the team and across QA.
Responsibilities:
• Developing and enhancing automated test frameworks and libraries
• Writing clear and concise test cases, scenarios and conditions
• Executing manual and/or automated tests on various platforms (Windows, Linux, macOS)
• Analyzing and reporting software defects, ensuring accurate and timely communication with developers and other stakeholders
• Investigating and resolving issues related to software quality, performance and functionality
• Providing feedback to development teams and other stakeholders to improve products and processes
• Participating in all phases of product lifecycle, including requirements analysis, test case writing, execution, and reporting
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues
• Creating documentation for test approaches, test procedures, and test results
• Identifying opportunities to apply new technology and innovative approaches to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications:
• Experience in test automation using Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber BDD, JUnit and/or Groovy scripts
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools and processes
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and experience with Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence, etc.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies
• Team player attitude
• Able to work independently and take initiative
• Good time management skills
• Self-motivated, disciplined, flexible and proactive
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
