Senior Test Automation Engineer, cloud platform

Stibo Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer with strong test automation skills to develop automated regression tests for cloud infrastructure and tools. You will spearhead the development of a new testing framework and automated deployment processes for our cloud infrastructure and tools.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cloud platform by establishing a new framework for test automation for infrastructure, deployment scripts and tools. Your work will directly impact the quality and reliability of our flagship MDM solutions, ensuring seamless upgrades and deployments. You will also be a member of the R&D QA community, where you will develop quality standards and test strategy to be utilized to assess product quality. You will ensure that the product is developed & released meeting customer expectations and adhering to our quality management system.

More specifically, you will:

  • Design and develop test framework for regression test of infrastructure.
  • Manage, organize and execute comprehensive QA test plans and strategy for cloud infrastructure, deployment automation and related tools
  • Work with stakeholders to understand user stories and functional requirements and develop test cases.
  • Develop and execute manual and automated regression and performance test scripts based on user stories, acceptance criteria and functional specifications.
  • Be an advocate of quality in every phase of the development process ensuring the highest quality product is delivered.
  • Find and document regressions, and track bugs through resolution.

You will join a department that works on the application platform and at the same time sits closely to our cloud architecture team that develops our cloud infrastructure and related tools.

Here you will be responsible for building a regression test framework for testing cloud infrastructure, deployment workflows as well as the tools and services provided in our cloud platform to support our applications and services.

Your competencies

You have several years of experience in developing and coding automated tests and experience working with cloud infrastructure and tools. You have a flexible and proactive attitude; you want to get things done and you can communicate in a constructive manner offering your knowledge to your colleagues in the team. You are excited to contribute to increasing confidence with comprehensive testing and highly effective communication.

Moreover, you can tick at least some of the below competences:

  • Solid programming skills
  • Experience with infrastructure such as code, Kubernetes and Azure cloud.
  • Experience with different programming languages, preferably Java and Python.
  • Experience in testing enterprise applications.
  • Experience with test automation tools
  • Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with any test case tracking systems.
  • Good practical understanding of APIs.
