Senior Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced test automation engineer with a strong background in general programming, automation testing, and test design to strengthen our automation team and participate in an in-house automation testing framework and test coverage development.

The target application is a video meeting client, built using Electron framework and includes both the web and the native UI components, combined with media-related features, which imposes very challenging requirements on the test automation..

Key technologies: Java, Selenium, Appium

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain an in-house automation testing framework

• Implement functional and non-functional test scenarios

• Improve pass-rate and run speed of the test suite

• Expand infrastructure and optimize CI/CD pipelines

Qualifications:

• Strong Java skills

• Extensive experience in automation testing

• Experience testing native applications on Windows and Mac OS

• Experience testing web-based applications

• Ability to evaluate complex projects and meet deadlines

Will be a pluse:

• Experience in media (audio/video) testing

• Experience with GitLab and/or Jenkins CI/CD pipeline creation

• Knowledge of Electron, Chromium or WebRTC internals
