Role Summary:
Lead and scale test automation across modern and legacy platforms, ensuring quality, traceability, and release confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks and regression suites.
• Build API, integration, end-to-end, and non-functional automated tests.
• Integrate quality gates and automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Mainframe experience (COBOL, CICS, JCL, TSO, DB2 or similar).
• Define test data strategy and maintain traceable quality evidence.
• Identify quality risks early and drive remediation plans.
• Define Test strategy and produce Test Project Completion Certificates
AI Skills for This Role:
• Use AI to propose test scenarios, edge cases, and coverage gaps.
• Use AI support for defect triage and regression prioritization.
• Generate initial automation scaffolds with AI, then validate and harden them.
• Critically review AI-generated assertions and expected outcomes.
ResponsibilitiesPlan, monitor & manage operational delivery to ensure adherence to agreed quality parameters & timelines. Implement work management trackers, define roles & responsibilities of team members and roll out a work allocation / delivery plan to track completion
Work with onshore managers to agree on scope of work, key stakeholders, escalation matrices, project milestones & timelines
Design & Implement management information systems (MIS) for periodic status updates and to identify trends around business processes identified as high on risk / low on controls
Drive a culture of Risk and Governance across business processes. Institutionalize ethos of continuous improvement in risk management across all processes and sub processes in scope. Champion customer service to ensure that compliance is integrated in business processes
Demonstrate excellent project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and use current technology/tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services QualificationsProfessional certification such as CA, CPA, CISA or CIA. 7-9 years of experience.
