Role Summary
We are looking
for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer in QA Automation with strong
hands-on experience in Playwright and Selenium. The ideal candidate will contribute
to building high-quality automation solutions, ensuring robust test coverage,
and supporting continuous delivery pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop,
enhance, and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright and
Selenium.
- Contribute
to the design and evolution of automation frameworks under architectural
guidance.
- Implement
automated tests for web, API, and integration layers using JavaScript and
Java.
- Integrate
and execute automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate
with developers and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure
comprehensive test coverage.
- Participate
in code reviews, defect analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support test
data management, environment setup, and execution stability.
- Ensure
adherence to defined automation standards and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–8 years of
experience in software testing and automation.
- Strong
hands-on experience with Playwright and Selenium WebDriver.
- Proficiency
in JavaScript and/or Java.
- Experience
working with automation frameworks (BDD, data-driven, or hybrid).
- Familiarity
with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Solid
understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Good
debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective
communication and collaboration skills.
Good to Have
- Experience
with API automation tools (Postman, Rest Assured, Karate).
- Basic
understanding of performance testing tools (JMeter, k6).
- Exposure to
mobile test automation (Appium).
- Awareness of
emerging trends such as AI-powered testing.
