The Role

Senior Test Analyst - Telephony

  • Fixed Term contract until June 2026
  • Hybrid work environment based in Sydney

Opportunity for an experienced Senior Test Analyst to be responsible for driving testing outcomes within a core functional team for a telephony uplift program of work. You will be part of a technology driven program to modernise legacy telephony hardware and services including switchboard, voice, fax, call centre and call recording that will support RBA’s strategic platform.

As part of this role, you will strongly focus on Infrastructure & Network testing to support delivery of the program. The role requires taking an active part in all testing related activities including test planning and execution, test automation, providing testing support, maintaining, improving test processes, tooling, and outputs, whilst working in an agile team.

This is a fixed term contract role until June 2026 with possibility of extension.

Your background

Senior Test Analyst with a minimum 12yrs of hands-on experience in the Infrastructure & Network testing. You understand various test phases and can apply QA processes while performing functional and non-functional testing to ensure the migrated product is robustly tested. The ideal candidate should be an adaptive learner, understand the existing application, infrastructure & network landscape and start contributing positively to the project.

To be successful in this critical role you will possess:

  • Experience in performing hands-on Infrastructure testing activities for large Telephony IT Infrastructure and Network projects including uplift & migration.

  • Develop test deliverables like test scenarios, test cases for Telephony Infrastructure projects, focusing on replacing existing PABX system to SAAS solution and all associated functionalities like IVR, etc. for end-to-end delivery.

  • Create and maintain Test Plans/Test Cases and Test Summary reports that appropriately address the risk and complexity of the program.

  • Testing experience of IT Networking changes including but not limited to on-prem/cloud connectivity checks, Firewall rules, Bandwidth verification and Routing.

  • Testing of WAN, Wi-Fi services, Data-centre networks and SD-WAN solutions.

  • Prior hands-on working knowledge on testing SD-WAN changes or large organizations network implementations is highly desirable.

  • Testing of application/services that integrate with Infra/OS/Network layers.

  • Work closely with Test Lead in developing and maintaining Testcase, Functional (SIT/UAT) and Non-Functional Test scenarios (including Performance, Load /Stress, Failover and DR).

  • Experienced in performing intelligent inquiry and co-ordination with multiple Vendors, Application owners, testing teams & Business stakeholders for Technical Testing & UAT activities.

  • Expertise with Test management tools such as JIRA, QMETRY, and Confluence or similar tools.

  • Able to perform feasibility analysis for Infra automation and knowledge of Infra automation frameworks & test suite development would be desirable.

  • Work collaboratively in an agile team to deliver value to the end-users
