The Senior Technology Specialist (IT) impacts a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities with the technology team and other related teams and ensures that they are working within the appropriate guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for level 2 IT support and maintenance of custom and commercial Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), including day-to-day technical operations  
  • Work closely with level 1 global support to resolve the issues and satisfy the requests of 1000+ EPC projects and 30,000+ global users Many of these issues and requests are critical to a project’s schedule and profitability and must be handled promptly
  • Engage resources from other IT areas as needed to meet the needs of the global user base
  • Project Manager overseeing EDMS application development  
  • Responsible for consolidating user functional requests and preparing development packages consisting of estimates, schedules, specifications, testing, and roll-out plans  
  • Provide required monthly progress reporting to Senior Management using Microsoft Project
  • Manage vendor relationships to keep a complex environment up to date with the latest releases ensuring applications are as secure as possible and providing users with the latest functionality improvements
  • Work with cross-functional teams as required to provide technical recommendations, find possible workarounds, and report root cause analysis
  • Communicate issues and technical roadblocks effectively
  • Working closely with the customer for the HCM track for various requirements
  • Configure and present customized demonstration to address Customer specific requirements
  • Develop and maintain solution expertise, knowledge of developments and new releases in the HCM SaaS solution area

Qualifications

Essential Qualification and Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience ITIL certification preferred
  • CISSP certification preferred (applicable for security professionals) CCNA certification preferred (applicable for network professionals)
  • 5+ years of work experience, work experience can be waived with higher than minimum Degree requirement met
  • Responsible for the support and maintenance of custom and commercial enterprise applications
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Proficient in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile and Waterfall models
  • Project Manager overseeing development activities for custom enterprise applications
  • Strong technical skills background including Java, HTML/CSS, Oracle, PL/SQL
  • Self-starter, works independently with minimal supervision, is proactive, and learns quickly



Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) Must Have:

  • HCM Cloud Skills (Core HR, Recruitment Cloud ORC, Benefits, Talent Management)
  • Knowledge of various Oracle HCM technical functionalities – HCM Data Loader, HSDL, HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas, Oracle SQL, OTBI, OBIEE, BI Bursting Reports.
  • Client Facing Experience, Exposure to Implementation projects
  • Experience with various aspects of Oracle HCM implementation including requirements gathering, fit or gap analysis, functional design development, user acceptance testing, training and deployment activities
  • Good to have: Knowledge on HCM Rest API
