Job Summary
ClearBridge Investments is seeking a Senior Technology Project Manager to join our New York City–based Technology team. This role will focus primarily on leading complex system migration and platform transformation initiatives that support the firm’s strategic objectives.
This individual will play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and executing migrations across enterprise investment systems, including portfolio management, order management, research, data, and related operational platforms.
This individual will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure migration initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and with minimal disruption to core business processes. This role requires strong project leadership, deep organizational skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional dependencies in a highly regulated and business-critical environment. The ideal candidate brings experience leading large-scale technology implementations or migrations, particularly within asset management, financial services, or enterprise investment platforms
Key Senior Technology Project Manager Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management for enterprise investment system migrations or enhancements working closely with business and development teams
- Coordinate business and technical workstreams across system design, data mapping, integration planning, testing, cutover, and post-go-live support
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and cross-functional dependencies, escalating where appropriate and driving timely resolution
- Manage communications across stakeholders, including project teams, senior leadership, vendors, and external implementation partners
- Ensure appropriate governance, documentation, and change management practices are maintained throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- 6-8+ years of experience in project management, business analysis, or technology delivery, with significant experience leading enterprise system implementations or migrations within asset management industry
- Strong knowledge of enterprise investment platforms, including portfolio management, order management, research, accounting, performance, and market data systems
- Experience leading large-scale system migration efforts, including planning, dependency management, testing coordination, cutover execution, and post-go-live support for investment management workflows across front-, middle-, and back-office functions
- Familiarity with data migration, reconciliation, validation, and integration challenges across interconnected enterprise platforms
- Experience with integrated investment vendor SaaS applications like Charles River, Aladdin or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 platform and toolsets, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint, as well as project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira and Smartsheet
- Strong understanding of data relationships across systems (e.g., upstream/downstream impacts)

- The salary range for this position is targeted for $145,000 to $185,000 plus discretionary bonus. Base pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience.
