Job Description:
Job SummaryLeads complex, enterprise-level IT projects that span multiple departments and have significant organizational impact. Develops, monitors, and controls comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations, ensuring adherence to established project management methodologies. Provides strategic guidance and mentorship to multidisciplinary IT teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and adherence to best practices. Identifies, assesses, and mitigates project risks to ensure initiatives remain on track and aligned with business objectives. Engages with business and technical stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes, providing clear executive-level communication and project briefings. Continuously drives improvements in IT processes, service delivery, and project execution, applying independent judgment on high-impact assignments.
Essential Functions
• Lead enterprise-level IT projects of significant scope and organizational impact, ensuring alignment with business strategy and objectives.
• Develop, monitor, and control comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to project teams, promoting adherence to IT project management best practices.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks; implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, resolve escalated conflicts, and guide decision-making on complex project issues.
• Drive continuous improvement of IT processes, project methodologies, and service delivery to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and cost optimization.
• Communicate project status, decisions, and recommendations clearly and regularly to leadership, stakeholders, and business partners.
• Ensure projects meet agreed-upon milestones, deliverables, and service level agreements.
• Recognize and act on opportunities for service recovery or process enhancement.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree
Experience Requirement: 5+ years of Project Management experience in healthcare, computer science, management information systems, or a relevant area An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
