About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Technology Engagement Business Services Consultant to lead operational readiness and business systems execution for enterprise technology deployments, product implementations, and end user technology services. This role serves as a strategic partner across Product Management, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Service Desk, Field Technology Services, Training, Communications, and Knowledge Management teams to ensure operational preparedness, service stability, and successful adoption of enterprise technology solutions.
The consultant will drive governance, readiness planning, operational risk assessments, executive communications, reporting, training enablement, and deployment support activities for technology initiatives impacting large employee populations across the enterprise. This role is critical to ensuring seamless technology transitions while delivering exceptional end user experiences and operational excellence.
In this role, you will:
- Lead operational readiness activities for enterprise technology deployments and product implementations, ensuring support organizations are prepared for successful production adoption.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Technology Operations, and business stakeholders to assess impacts, define readiness requirements, and develop support strategies.
- Facilitate readiness governance processes, intake reviews, operational risk assessments, deployment approvals, and implementation tracking activities.
- Develop and maintain operational readiness plans, support models, implementation playbooks, escalation procedures, and deployment documentation.
- Coordinate readiness activities across Service Desk, Field Technology Services, Communications, Training, and Knowledge Management organizations.
- Create executive presentations, reporting dashboards, readiness scorecards, and operational metrics that provide leadership visibility into deployment status, risks, and adoption outcomes.
- Drive knowledge management activities including creation, publication, and maintenance of technical and end-user knowledge articles, support documentation, and SharePoint-based resources.
- Develop and execute communication strategies that prepare support organizations and stakeholders for upcoming deployments and technology changes.
- Evaluate readiness risks, support gaps, training requirements, staffing impacts, and operational dependencies and implement mitigation strategies prior to production release.
- Manage Jira-based governance workflows, readiness tracking, issue management, reporting, and operational intake processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation and adoption of Microsoft 365 technologies, including Copilot and related collaboration solutions.
- Consult with senior leaders and stakeholders to translate complex technical initiatives into business-focused recommendations, implementation strategies, and readiness assessments.
- Support enterprise change management initiatives while ensuring compliance with operational standards, risk controls, and technology governance requirements.
- 4+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of M365 product experience including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
- 2+ years of Jira experience
- Operational readiness, technology deployment, or implementation experience.
- Technology operations, service management, or change management experience.
- Experience with Jira, Agile delivery, and governance processes.
- Experience developing executive communications, reporting, and presentations.
- Experience creating knowledge articles, operational documentation, and training materials.
- Strong analytical, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, or Copilot.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Experience driving process improvement, automation, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Experience working in a large, complex, regulated environment.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule - 3 days per week on-site/in office and 2 days per week remote
