Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Technology Business Systems Consultant within the Core Banking Group as part of Consumer Technology. In this role, you will support the delivery of complex technology solutions by partnering closely with business and technology teams to analyze requirements, execute testing strategies, and ensure high quality outcomes across core banking platforms. You will contribute hands on expertise in system testing and validation for Hogan and integrated downstream systems, helping to ensure compliance, risk management, and production readiness. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple work efforts while collaborating across cross functional teams such as Technology teams, UAT Testing team, Zafin teams, and enterprise partners. You will help identify defects, support root cause analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including the adoption of new tools and technologies to improve testing efficiency and solution quality. In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in managing and supporting the delivery of technology products and services of high-profile business unit clients and contribute to large scale solutions planning related to Technology Business Services
- Ensure service quality and cost effectiveness of solutions
- Review customer information with the technology team and implement technical initiatives for highly complex projects impacting multiple lines of business or across the enterprise
- Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
- Make decisions in complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of managing multiple medium technology development efforts that influence and lead broader work team and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with the technology team and more experienced management within Technology Business Services functional area to resolve Information Technology issues and provide customers with best possible solutions
- Provide guidance on leveraging new technology
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience
- 4+ years of hands-on testing experience with Hogan IDS, including end-to-end validation of complex deposit-processing workflows
Desired Qualifications:
- Testing strategy and planning: Demonstrated experience developing comprehensive testing strategies and test plans, with the ability to work closely with other team members
- Experience with APIs: Perform API testing and validation to verify business rules and downstream behavior, including building and maintaining test coverage using Postman, validating response structures, troubleshooting defects, and supporting regression testing for changes impacting our processes
- Designing and reviewing technical solutions: Contribute to solution and design reviews and technical change readiness by evaluating impacts across systems, confirming operational considerations, and aligning delivery with Secure SDLC and enterprise governance requirements
- Experience with GenAI: Leverage GenAI tools to accelerate day to day delivery by writing test documentation and improving throughput and quality. Familiar with enterprise GenAI tools such as M365 Copilot and other tools
- Strong analytical skills: Ability to interpret complex data flows and reconcile results, identify defects with potential customer impact, and support root cause analysis by connecting system behavior to business outcomes
- Strong communication and mentoring skills: Communicate complex technical behavior in clear business terms, provide status and validation updates, support documentation and knowledge transfer, train coworkers, and mentor junior employees
- Delivery ownership: Proven ability to operate with minimal oversight, manage testing deliverables end to end, and ensure timely execution of testing commitments
