The Position: The Digital Business Unit is seeking a Senior Technical Writer, to provide support to our Processors group located at ADI’s Bilisim Vadisi Vadi Istanbul office. The candidate will be self-motivated, willing to learn exciting innovative technologies and develop new products, but also be able to work effectively within a talented group of individuals across multiple locations. The candidate will join a team of Software and Hardware engineers, who are implementing state of the art products.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documentation that adheres to ADI’s style guidelines
  • Work with design and software engineers to author thorough and accurate technical documentation including user guides, application notes, data sheets, reference designs, and product specifications
  • Learn complex concepts and communicate the information in a way that ADI’s customers understand
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet product introduction dates
  • Test the documentation against the product for accuracy and consistency
  • Provide customer support, primarily when questions are asked about our technical documentation
  • Perform other duties as may be determined by management

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering, or related field
  • 4+ years of technical writing experience or equivalent industry experience
  • Knowledge of electrical/computer/software engineering fundamentals
  • Strong writing, production, and technical editing skills
  • Proficient in English
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, including willingness and ability to consult with subject matter experts from engineering, software, test, and product management

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Good understanding of Microcontrollers and Embedded Systems
  • Experience with embedded C programming
  • Experience with source control systems and workflow tools—GitHub, JIRA/Confluence
