Role: Senior Technical Writer AI-Enabled Knowledge Creator

Location: Bangalore

As a Technical Writing - Manager I, you will operate at the intersection of product, technology, and business within a hyper-growth environment. You will not only create documentation but act as a Knowledge Orchestrator, leveraging cutting-edge AI to scale our intelligence and maintain excellence across all deliverables.

1. AI-Driven Knowledge Orchestration & Writing

• AI Integration: Proactively act as a "Knowledge Orchestrator" by using advanced AI tools like Gemini and NotebookLM to research, synthesize complex information, automate documentation drafting, and the structuring of complex technical concepts.

• Strategic Research: Access knowledge databases and interview subject matter experts to gather deep insights of institutional knowledge to create enterprise-grade documentation.

• Content Creation: Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation in multiple formats (text, images, video) for both internal and external audiences.

2. Linguistic Mastery & Technical Writing

• Impeccable English Command: Maintain absolute authority over the English language, ensuring every deliverable reflects perfect grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure.

• Editorial Excellence: Act as a final-gate reviewer for the team, producing error-free, "awesome-quality" content that translates complex operational workflows into easy-to-comprehend stories in alignment with Circles standards.

• Precision and Detail: Ensure technical accuracy in every piece of content, maintaining a detail-oriented approach in a hyper-growth, fast-paced environment.

3. Advanced API & Technical Documentation

• API Specialization: Take ownership of API documentation by reading and understanding API request-responses and interpreting code written in languages such as JavaScript.

• Cross-Functional Sync: Collaborate closely with engineering and support teams to ensure the discoverability and accuracy of technical product manuals.

• Industry Standard API Documentation: Create and maintain industry standard API documentation for the entire platform, tailored for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

4. Multimedia Training & Development (Good to have)

• Collateral Design: Develop product marketing and training collaterals that explain software functionality to diverse consumer groups.

• Training Nuggets: Create engaging multimedia "nuggets," including slides, infographics, and high-fidelity videos.

• Video Production: Break down complex technical functionality into engaging video content, handling the full lifecycle from script to final edit.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration (Good to have)

• Stakeholder Alignment: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to ensure content accuracy, discoverability, and professional layout.

• Remote Synergy: Efficiently collaborate with remote global teams in a fast-paced, constantly changing agile environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience: 6 years of experience in technical documentation within the software domain.

• AI Proficiency: Hands-on experience using Generative AI (Gemini, NotebookLM) and automation workflows to improve productivity and content quality.

• Writing Excellence: Impeccable command of the English language, with a focus on precision, detail, and error-free output.

• Technical Storytelling: Ability to translate operational workflows and technical concepts into easy-to-comprehend stories, read codes and document API architectures.

• Video Editing: Must be well-versed in video editing tools like Canva and capable of producing high-quality video content.

• Structured content ownership models or editorial workflows: Experience managing the life cycle of documentation with a defined set of accountabilities. 

• Portfolio: Ability to provide at least two samples each of technical writing and video content.

Preferred (Good to Have) Qualifications

• SaaS & Agile: Experience working with SaaS products in an Agile development lifecycle.

• Cloud & Dev Tools: Familiarity with Cloud Service Providers (GCP, Azure, AWS) and GitLab.

• Knowledge Management Tool: Experience working Gitbook and its setup (strongly preferred)

• Telco/BSS domain: Familiarity with TMForum domains, BSS/OSS terminology, and have experience in documentation of telecom / enterprise SaaS domain knowledge.
