  • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and act as the key technical interface between Engineering, IT, Quality, and Manufacturing.

  • Ensure full compliance with GMP, FDA CFR 21, GAMP 5, and Data Integrity standards, leading all automation-related qualification and CSV activities.

Who you are

You are a self-directed technical leader with a high degree of accountability and the ability to serve as a bridge between complex chemical/biological processes and digital control systems. You possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, exceptional stakeholder engagement abilities, and the strategic mindset required to drive innovation and decision-making processes in operationally demanding environments.

In addition, you possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Master’s degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.

  • Strong background in automation architecture design (e.g., DeltaV, PCS7, ABB 800xA), project execution, and validation.

  • Extensive knowledge of regulatory compliance (FDA, EMA) and GMP requirements for pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.

  • Demonstrated ability to execute highly complex scopes on mid-sized to large-scale capital projects.

  • Proficient in English and German

  • Willingness to travel significantly (50-80%) and accept international assignments of 1 to 3 years.
