Senior Technical Specialist

Summary

We are looking for a new colleague to join our Corporate Solutions team to support the delivery and deployment of custom security solutions for our clients.

Job description

Your main role will be to help to design, setup and configure security systems, cooperate on implementing change requests and support the operations of running systems.

After you master your main responsibilities, we offer you further opportunities for learning and growth, e.g. to the Senior Technical Specialist or Solution Architect positions.

What does Technical Specialist role entail?

• you´ll get familiar with existing ESET products and their components as well as with the tools, processes and procedures that are relevant for the team

• having a 360-degree view about ESET security solutions and products you will  be able to setup and configurate them regarding customer needs

• you will analyze technical aspects of environments (architecture, infrastructure, OS, databases, etc.) & evaluate their advantages / disadvantages / limits / risks in order to be able to provide best potential solutions / configurations of security products in customer’s environment

• execution setup and configuration of security solutions within the customer environments as well

• preparation of testing environments (cooperation with developers)

• cooperation with other teams and departments to effectively fulfill tasks

• communication with the customer about his requirements, needs, environments and customer’s specifics

• visiting selected customers in order to deliver the required services

• providing our customers and partners with technical support for ESET products

• getting in touch with ESET products before their release

• gathering data and create content for other teams and departments.

Our requirements:

• university degree (technical or economical)

• knowledge of SQL and/or interested in learning and deepening skills

• understanding of software development lifecycle and different  delivery methodologies

• basic knowledge of software architecture and it’s components

• technical and analytical thinking

• interested in (learning) new technologies

• fluent English (other languages welcome)

• knowledge of programming languages is welcome

• knowledge of security landscape and technology is welcome

• experience with direct contact with customer is welcome

Basic wage component (brutto): from 2 500 EUR

* Financial bonus based on performance paid twice a year up to 10% from the base salary paid during the evaluation period (normally 6 months).

* The final basic wage component can be increased accordingly to individual skills and experience of the selected candidate.
