Electrification

Let’s Talk about the Role

The Senior Technical Sales Manager will lead our technical engagement strategy for Distributed Energy Resource Management Systems (DERMS) across Europe, acting as a trusted advisor to our utility customers.

You will bridge the gap between complex technical requirements and business strategy, ensuring our partners and clients receive the high-quality, end-to-end solutions they need to meet their operational and regulatory goals. By collaborating across global teams, you will champion the voice of the customer to shape the future of our software portfolio while driving sustainable growth.

How You Will Make a Difference

  • Driving the identification and qualification of new opportunities while nurturing long-term relationships with utility customers.
  • Leading the delivery of high-impact product demonstrations and technical proposals that clearly articulate the strategic value of our software.
  • Collaborating with internal product and engineering teams to translate customer needs and market trends into actionable roadmap improvements.
  • Building robust technical responses for complex proposals, tenders, and client bids.
  • Fostering strong partnerships with account managers and marketing teams to position our solutions at industry events and conferences.
  • Improving our global demonstration capabilities by sharing best practices and customer insights across regional teams.

Skills for Success

You should be a strategic thinker and technical advocate, with:

  • The ability to translate complex regulatory and operational utility challenges into clear, compelling technical solutions.
  • Expertise in the energy industry, particularly regarding distributed energy resources, distribution planning, or grid management software.
  • The capability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, ranging from technical engineers to C-suite stakeholders.
  • A keen interest in emerging energy trends and the ability to proactively identify creative solutions to market challenges.
  • An understanding of how to manage end-to-end sales processes, from initial engagement to successful project delivery.

A formal degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Power Systems is nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and your ability to drive strategic growth in the energy sector.
