Position Purpose
The Technical Evaluator for Organic Certification – Livestock Production is responsible for the independent technical assessment of certification files related to livestock production, beekeeping, and mixed farming operations.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Agronomy, Animal Production, Veterinary Medicine, Biology, or a related scientific field
- Excellent knowledge of organic livestock production systems and applicable regulatory requirements
- Experience in inspection, certification, technical evaluation, or quality assurance within the organic production sector
- Good knowledge of ISO/IEC 17065 principles, particularly regarding impartiality and separation of roles
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to document and critically assess information
Additional Qualifications (considered an asset)
- Involvement in sustainability, ESG, or environmental management systems
- Knowledge or experience in animal welfare and relevant standards
