The Role

Riot Data Centers (a Riot Platforms company) is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to play a pivotal role in building out our next-generation AI and High-Performance Computing (HPC) Data Centers. In this position, you won’t just fill roles - you’ll shape the teams driving our most ambitious technical initiatives. You’ll partner with leaders across engineering, product, land acquisition, construction, and critical operations to design and execute talent strategies that power large-scale, complex infrastructure projects.

We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes sourcing - uncovering hidden talent, building long-term relationships, and bringing top technical experts into the fold. Your expertise in recruiting for specialized technical roles and your ability to influence hiring strategies will be key to shaping our Data Center division's future.

This position will be based in our Denver office.

 

What You'll Do

  • Partner with executive leadership to shape and execute talent acquisition strategies aligned with company growth and technical goals.
  • Own end-to-end recruitment for technical and high-impact roles, driving requisition management, sourcing, and candidate evaluation.
  • Design and lead creative sourcing strategies to identify, engage, and convert top passive talent across highly specialized technical domains.
  • Use data and market insights to advise hiring managers on talent availability, compensation, and competitive positioning.
  • Keep a constant pulse on the market; staying ahead of industry trends and emerging skill sets.
  • Execute employer branding initiatives in partnership with Marketing to position us as an employer of choice in the AI/HPC infrastructure space.
  • Champion a best-in-class candidate experience, ensuring every interaction reflects our values and technical excellence.
  • Be a trusted advisor to hiring teams, influencing decisions with data, expertise, and a deep understanding of the technical talent landscape.
  • Maintain compliance and uphold recruiting best practices across all hiring processes.

 

What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years of recruiting experience, including 2+ years in a start-up or high-growth environment where you helped scale recruiting programs from the ground up.
  • Proven track record sourcing and hiring for complex technical and infrastructure roles across multiple disciplines.
  • Deep knowledge of modern sourcing methods; you know how to find, engage, and convert top talent.
  • Strong command of ATS platforms, sourcing automation tools, and analytics to optimize hiring efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; you can influence at all levels and act as a trusted thought partner to the business.
  • A data-driven mindset with a knack for connecting recruiting strategy to business outcomes.
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset; you’re energized by change and thrive in fast-moving environments where priorities shift quickly.

  • Competitive Salary: $100K–$130K (commensurate with experience) + bonus + sign-on equity grant.
