About the Role:
We are excited to offer the opportunity for a Senior Technical Project Consultant to join our expanding Technology Projects team. This senior-level position plays a pivotal role in overseeing and executing sophisticated technical projects, including system implementations and strategic IT configurations for a diverse client base.
*This role is based out of the DC, MD, VA area and will sometimes require onsite work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical implementations/configurations of client infrastructure (new laptop setups, 365 migrations, sharepoint online migrations, new firewall configurations and installations, office moves, network switch setups, wireless access point setups, etc.
- Lead and own entire technical projects from start to finish
- Provide senior-level management of projects and technology tasks throughout to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline
- Perform as an escalation point for the technical project team
- Work with the Project Coordinator to develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals
- Coordinate client and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation
Preferred Experience:
- 7+ years of recent hands-on IT technical support experience, this experience must include both end-user support and systems administration experience. Higher-level network engineering experience is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and configuration
- Ability to lead and handle migrations to the Microsoft 365 platform
- Experience and ability to configure firewalls, especially SonicWALL firewalls
- Experience with and ability to configure network switches
- Ability to clearly articulate and explain technical issues to non-technical staff
