As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will lead the planning and execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives spanning data engineering, AI/ML, and application development. You will work closely with engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of scalable, high-impact solutions.

You will bring strong project management expertise combined with technical understanding to effectively manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and drive alignment across teams operating in a highly technical environment.

You will be responsible for:

  • Technical Program Coordination:

    • Partner with data engineers, AI/ML engineers, and full-stack developers to coordinate work across multiple technical workstreams, including data pipelines, agentic AI systems, and frontend applications.

  • Stakeholder Management & Communication:

    • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project status, risks, and dependencies. Translate technical concepts into business-friendly language to support decision-making.

  • Agile Delivery & Team Enablement:

    • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and ensure teams are operating efficiently. Remove blockers and enable teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

  • Risk & Dependency Management:

    • Proactively identify risks, manage cross-team dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success in a complex, fast-moving environment.

  • Technical Understanding & Alignment:

    • Develop a strong understanding of the team’s technical landscape (e.g., AWS, data platforms, APIs, AI/agent frameworks) to effectively support planning, prioritization, and execution.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Coordinate across internal teams and external partners to align priorities, manage deliverables, and ensure seamless integration of solutions.

  • Governance & Reporting:

    • Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, including tracking of KPIs, timelines, and deliverables. Provide regular updates to leadership and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Drive improvements in project delivery processes, tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the team.

Who you are:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in project or program management, preferably in technical or software development environments.

  • Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional technical projects.

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, including Agile methodologies.

  • Experience working with engineering teams (data, backend, frontend, or AI/ML).

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing projects involving data engineering, AI/ML, or cloud-based platforms (AWS).

  • Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and modern application architectures.

  • Understanding of AI/ML workflows, including LLMs or agent-based systems.
