The Role
What You'll Own
- Program delivery — Maintain a clear, current view of everything in flight across all Edge teams: timelines, milestones, dependencies, and open decisions. If something is off track, you know before anyone else does — and you're already doing something about it.
- Accountability and follow-through — Chase down open actions. Hold people to their commitments — across engineering, product, design, and beyond. You're not passive about slippage; you name it, escalate it when needed, and drive it to resolution.
- Cross-functional coordination — Connect the dots across every team contributing to Edge. Manage the flow of information so no team is blocked waiting on another, and no dependency is invisible.
- Dependency mapping — Identify and actively track cross-team and cross-system dependencies before they become blockers. Build the habit of surfacing risks early.
- Stakeholder communication — Translate progress into clear, honest, business-relevant updates for leadership and partners. No spin — just signal.
- Process without bureaucracy — Build just enough structure to keep the program moving. Kill anything that slows teams down without adding value.
- AI project fluency — Understand the unique delivery challenges of ML and AI work: experiment cycles, model iterations, data dependencies, infrastructure constraints. Adapt planning and expectations accordingly, while keeping all other teams in sync with that reality.
- AI-augmented delivery — Actively use AI tools to improve how the program itself is run — planning, automation, risk identification, and decision-making. You're not just managing an AI product; you're expected to bring AI into how you work.
- Domain awareness — Develop a working understanding of the rebate optimization and commercial agreement space. Program decisions should be informed by market context and customer needs, not just internal priorities.
What We're Looking For
Experience:
- 7+ years of program or project management experience, with clear progression in scope and complexity
- Proven track record managing cross-functional programs — not just a single team or workstream, but multiple disciplines delivering toward a shared outcome
- Strong working knowledge of agile methodologies and SaaS product development lifecycles
- Hands-on experience delivering AI projects — traditional ML pipelines, LLM-based products, or both. You don't need to write the models, but you need to understand how they're built, how they're different from standard software delivery, and where they tend to break
- A background in software development or computer science is a strong plus — someone who has written code, even earlier in their career, will have a meaningful edge in this role. The ability to look at a technical task and form an independent, credible estimate of its complexity and timeline is essential
- Proficiency with modern program and project management tooling — Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or equivalent
- Startup experience is required — you know what it means to operate without a playbook, make calls with incomplete information, and ship under pressure
- SaaS product environment is a strong plus — ideally B2B
- You chase. Open actions don't age on your watch — you follow up, escalate, and close the loop. People know that if they've committed to something, you'll be back
- You hold people accountable — not just your direct reports, but peers, partners, and stakeholders across every level. You do it directly and without drama
- You operate with high ownership. You don't wait to be told something is a problem; you already know and you're already working on it
- You're direct. You say what you see, especially when it's uncomfortable. Vague updates and diplomatic non-answers are not your style
- You lead, you don't just facilitate. You have opinions, you push back when something doesn't make sense, and you drive alignment rather than waiting for it to emerge
- You're commercially minded; you connect delivery to outcomes, not just completed milestones
- A degree in business, technology, computer science, engineering or a related field — or equivalent experience that demonstrates the same depth
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification is a plus

What We Do
Enable helps manufacturers, distributors, and retailers take control of their rebate programs and turn them into an engine for growth. Starting in finance and commercial teams, Enable helps better manage rebate complexity with automated real-time data and insights, accurate forecasting, and stronger cross functional alignment. This lets you — and everyone else you authorize in your business — know exactly where you are with rebates. Then you can extend Enable externally to your suppliers and/or customers, setting you and your partners up to use rebates as a strategy with one collaborative place to author, agree, execute, and track the progress of your deals.
