WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO
- Technology Experience: Lead planning, execution and management of cloud migration and technology project in data and analytics.
- Data and analytics experience will be necessary to understand project work, tasks, and estimations.
- Work with team to plan all dependencies and pre-execution, supporting and execution tasks.
- Project Management: Manage the day-to-day execution of the team, tracking progress and reporting in program level PMO.
- Guide team on plan and goals providing direction and removing blockers.
- Detailed tracking of day-to-day activity and progress, velocity of work, and other project metrics.
- Present team progress and metrics at a program level, working on removing blockers and issues working with other parts of the program.
- Understand and manage cross-team dependencies, team scope and delivery dates.
- Weekly formal reporting to client and program.
- Other responsibilities include:
- Experience in JIRA is a must. Manage Epics, Products, Stories, etc. on the program board.
- Manage daily scrum, agile ceremonies and participate in PMO, RAID, and other project calls.
- Manage scope and stakeholder negotiation working with Wavicle client leadership.
- Ensure team is delivery quality results.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related degree is required.
- 10+ years of experience in data and analytics space.
- At least 5+ years of background in engineering, architecture and like in the data and analytics space, working in cloud environments (GCP preferred).
- At least 3+ years of experience managing projects and leading teams.
- Experience with Agile approach and projects.
- Experience in managing cloud migration projects preferably in GCP, or at least in AWS or Azure.
- Verbal and oral communication skills along with team management skills to achieve outcomes.
- Experience in a global delivery model.
- Proficiency in preparing and delivering day to day trackers (JIRA preferred), project status reports, and other needed communications for RAID type resolution.
- Experience working with a project management tool, JIRA (or similar tool) experience required.
