A Brief Overview
The Senior Technical Program Manager leads complex, large-scale technology programs from strategy through execution, partnering closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders. This role balances business priorities with technical constraints while remaining hands-on with managing engineering tools, SDLC processes, technical documentation, and enabling AI capabilities. The TPM applies extensive Agile Scrum expertise to drive predictable delivery, manage dependencies and risks, and continuously improve execution through metrics, process optimization, and mentorship of high-performing teams.
What you will do
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, cross-functional programs that integrate AI-enabled capabilities across the SDLC.
- Remain hands-on in managing and optimizing engineering tools, workflows, and infrastructure, including GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Sentry, JFrog, SonarQube, Figma and AWS services.
- Design, implement, and scale AI-enabled workflows, agentic automation, and productivity solutions that improve engineering efficiency and delivery outcomes.
- Identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases across software development, guiding teams to apply generative tools and agents to maximize business value and ROI.
- Provide hands-on enablement through workshops, training, and practical guidance on tools such as GitHub, GitHub Copilot, Atlassian Jira and Confluence, Atlassian ROVO, AI code-assist solutions.
- Apply deep Agile Scrum expertise to drive predictable delivery, manage dependencies and risks, and ensure alignment across engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain best-practice playbooks, templates, and standards while ensuring adherence to AI governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Define, capture, and analyze delivery and adoption metrics to measure productivity impact, execution health, and continuous improvement.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience preferred
Experience Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, technical program management, or related roles, with deep expertise in Agile Scrum and large-scale program delivery.
- Experience creating enablement programs, technical documentation, playbooks, and KPIs that resulted in measurable productivity, quality, or delivery improvements.
- Proven track record of leading AI adoption initiatives in enterprise environments, with hands-on experience across the full DevOps SDLC, Engineering Tools and AWS services.
- Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and integrating AI capabilities into the PDLC and SDLC practices.
- Strong hands-on background enabling AI and automation within core engineering tools and platforms.
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and influence skills, with the ability to translate complex technical and AI concepts for engineers and product leaders.
- Analytical and outcome-driven mindset, with the ability to define metrics, measure adoption, and demonstrate the business impact of AI and automation initiatives.
- Solid understanding of Agile, SDLC and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, release management, and observability.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, driving execution with a bias toward action and continuous improvement.
- Deep hands-on expertise with modern engineering and productivity tools, including GitHub Enterprise, Jira and Confluence, Atlassian ROVO, Sentry, JFrog, SonarQube, and Figma.
