SUMMARY:
You will be working within a managed services team within a large multinational client and be responsible for all technical infrastructure delivery into assigned office build out projects, expansions and refreshes. You will have significant experience in similar roles and a track record of effective project management execution as well as program management in a multinational environment.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Provide outstanding customer service through program and project delivery.
- Project Manage the details of design, planning, sourcing and delivery of services and hardware for multiple office build and expansion projects.
- Hands-on project management for the design and build-out of structured cabling, cooling, power, network equipment, internet circuits, video conferencing and other IT infrastructure as required.
- Participate in RFP development and bid management for local structured cabling, Audio Visual and Design Consultants.
- Establish and track budgets for hardware procurement and outsourced services.
- Document and refine technical standards, align on standard processes with internal stakeholders, and work to continuously evolve and improve the build out process.
- Ensure successful operational handoff to respective technology and support teams.
- Update relevant tools and leadership teams with status, risks and blockers as required.
- Travel where necessary to support multiple client site builds and refresh projects.
COMPENTENCY:
- Demonstrated experience in structured cabling, MDF and IDF Design
- Understanding of Network Topologies, Patch Matrices. Wifi Heatmaps and demonstrated experience in delivering networks in corporate office build projects.
- Understanding of Audio-Visual technologies. Video conferencing room builds as well as all hands specialty spaces.
- Experience in representing IT in OAC meetings as well as understanding of Design and Build stages of construction.
- Ability to partner with Workplace and Real Estate teams and collaborate on successful Office build projects and programs.
- Experience with reporting tools such as Jira, MS Project. Confluence. Smartsheet
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor of Science or equivalent desired.
EXPERIENCE:
- 10+ years of experience in project and program management working on IT infrastructure related projects.
- Recent experience with complex construction / office buildout projects in a fast-paced environment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
English written and verbal.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Relevant industry certifications preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
If required, ability to rack stack and patch routers or switches in an MDF / IDF environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
On site at customer office location
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: 9am- 5pm
