Job Description

What You’ll Do

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to meet project goals and deadlines.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of DevOps principles, tools, and practices to guide project teams effectively.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and QA, to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices.
  • Automation: Promote the automation of development, testing, and deployment processes using tools like CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and configuration management.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to project timelines.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Implement monitoring and reporting tools to track project progress, identify bottlenecks, and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Budget Management: Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking expenses, and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including technical  specifications, user manuals, and post-implementation reports.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders, including executives, team members, and clients

What Makes You Qualified?

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (master's degree preferred).
  • 2-5 years of Technical Project Management experience
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible).
  • Proven experience in project management and technical leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends
