Senior Technical Product Owner

We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Technical Product Owner fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

• Work within the agile process and take decisions regarding priority, business value, and functionality for all the work done by the agile development team;
• Follow several activities across different projects requiring technical and project management skills: understand and comply to a review process, monitor status of certain tasks, coordinate internally and gather input from within the unit, other units;
• Support Development Lifecycle of the project;
• Review deliverable and demonstrable product version/software functionalities after every sprint;
• Participate to live demonstrations of the product at the end of the sprint;
• Evaluate and facilitate progress reporting.

• University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 17 years;
• Multi-annual experience with large, enterprise-level multi-user Information Systems;
• Multi-annual experience with large projects or programmes;
• Multi-annual experience in Agile as well as agile toolbox (i.e., JIRA, Confluence, Big Picture, Gliffy, Balsamiq, etc.);
• Excellent Knowledge of Application Management Lifecycle;
• Good Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, COBIT, Zachman, and actual experience developing and building models based on such framework;
• Good knowledge of cloud architecture frameworks, of Infrastructure as code, and of enterprise architecture frameworks;
• Good knowledge of modelling tools, Relational DBMS, interoperability technologies (web services, message-oriented middleware, service-oriented bus);
• The following certifications are strongly recommended for the performance of tasks: Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Project Management certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI, Prince2 Foundation, PM2, Certificate in Business Analysis;
• Excellent command of the English language.
