Job Duties and Responsibilities
DISH is seeking a Staff Technical Product Owner for our Retail Wireless department to drive integration across e-commerce, BSS, OSS, and big data platforms. In this role, you'll lead development teams to deliver world-class software for our 5G Network, focusing on API integration with BSS, OSS, and third-party vendors. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Billing, Credit, and Financing domains, with expertise in cloud-based platforms, strong communication, and critical thinking skill
Key Responsibilities:
- Align the product vision with business goals and gain stakeholder buy-in on major decisions
- Manage iteration planning, break down tasks, and provide clear instructions to the development team
- Organize and track sprint and project releases to ensure timely, on-budget delivery
- Ensure project success by meeting team expectations and goals
- Train and support product owners of other teams, facilitating necessary Scrum ceremonies
- Prioritize and groom product backlogs, manage dependencies, and coordinate cross-team delivery
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of enterprise product ownership and requirements documentation experience
- 8+ years of experience in software/API integration
- Expertise in Billing, Credit, and Financing domains
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong technical knowledge of data models, data management, APIs, and integration
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an understanding of enterprise solution architecture
- Self-starter with the ability to navigate complex environments
- Proficient in OpenAPI specifications and troubleshooting assistance
- Experience working with offshore teams
- Knowledge of AWS, Apigee, and development experience in Java, SpringBoot, or Node.js is a plus

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $83,160.00/Year - $118,800.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
